RESPONSIBILITIES
• Multi-drops of building materials in the local area
• Ensuring the vehicle is loaded in line with stock ticket, Company and safety
procedures, and secured before entering public highway
• Undertaking daily vehicle checks in line with Company procedures
• Taking full responsibility for stock on vehicle, as the Driver
• Adhering to working time directive and working in line with tachograph
requirements
• Keeping the vehicle clean and tidy
• Ensure that Driving Law is adhered to (Road Transport Act )
• Maximising branch sales opportunities through encouraging/ developing sales
directly or supporting sales activities
• Must be willing to work flexible hours to meet customer requirements

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
• Must be a holder of a full HGV HIAB licence with a minimum of 2 years driving
experience.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Ability to work largely unsupervised
